Electric vehicles require fundamentally different lubricants from combustion engines. An EV has no conventional motor oil — but it does have electric reduction gearboxes, cooling circuits for the power electronics and battery, and traction motor bearings. Krüger has released three new products for all of these applications.
Krüger® EV Reducer Oil 70W
A specialised oil for single- and two-speed electric vehicle reduction gearboxes. Low viscosity for efficiency, high electrical conductivity to protect the rotor windings, and compatibility with copper and plastic components.
Krüger® EV Fluid Cool
A dielectric coolant for batteries and power electronics. It does not conduct current, removes heat efficiently and is safe in contact with electronic components.
Krüger® EV Grease Hi-V
A high-voltage grease for traction motor bearings. Resistant to electrical erosion (EFW — Electrical Fluting Wear), with a long service life at high speeds.
Why this matters
By 2030 electric vehicles will account for more than 30% of the vehicles on Europe's roads. Lubricant manufacturers that fail to adapt in time will be left behind. Krüger is ready for the future — our EV Fluids range is developed to meet the requirements of the leading European vehicle manufacturers.
