Krüger PAO+ 5W-30 API SP Plus is a fully synthetic polyalphaolefin-based engine oil for turbocharged and direct-injection gasoline engines. The 5W-30 grade covers the bulk of the modern passenger car fleet: fluid enough for cold starts, yet strong enough to hold the film in a hot turbocharged engine where turbine bearing temperatures go far beyond normal operating ranges. The PAO synthetic base keeps the oil from oxidising and losing viscosity towards the end of the interval. Detergent additives hold combustion by-products in suspension and prevent them from settling on the rings and inside the oil galleries. The oil is compatible with emission control systems and does not shorten catalyst life.
